Natural me…ok so this in tribute to me transitioning to growing out my perm and wearing my hair au naturale….it will be a process! I’m excited!

Jane White as Queen Aggravain in the 1959 Broadway production of “Once Upon a Mattress.” The first African-American actress to portray a white character on Broadway, Ms. White originated this role in the Tony-nominated musical comedy and starred opposite Carol Burnett, who was making her Broadway debut in the role of Princess Winnifred.

- Quit smoking FOR GOOD :)
- Travel to Italy and/or the UK
- Teach at the collegiate level
- Continue to find ways to sustain peace and positivity in a world of chaos and negativity
- Continue to nurture healthy relationships and discontinue unhealthy relationships
- FINISH MY DOCTORATE and FIND AN AWESOME JOB (that pays fairly well)!
- Start back and STAY dancing, writing, and feeding my soul through the arts
- Complete and publish some form of creative writing NOT academic related at all!
- Continue to grow in my spirituality (MORE SPECIFIC)?
- Visit California
- Publish AT LEAST 2 more academic publications
- Challenge myself to be my authentic self in ALL situations
- Audition for some acting job, journalist position, or other entertaining arts job
- Take a trip with my mom
- Volunteer to work with a girls group
- Network more and find 1 more mentors!
- Befriend someone I don’t like

My heart, thoughts, and prayers goes out to all of the people afflicted by the horrid natural disaster in Japan.
These back to back natural disasters, political struggles leading to revolutions, economic crises, as well as wide spread diseases makes my heart mourn.
I pray for humanity. If it was never more apparent than now, we should recognize how much we truly need each other.
